Ioannina Marble is a calcitic marble, of beige colour. It is mined in Ioannina in various areas of the prefecture and under different trade names, depending on the region of origin, such as Tsini, Paramythia Rose and Traventino of Ioannina. It has been used as lining in a very large number of public and private projects in Greece.
