Epidaurus marble was a very commercial marble until the 1980s, when it stopped being extracted. In recent years, with the emergence of new technologies in the field of mining, Epidaurus or Lygourio marble has stepped back into the limelight. Its hue is dark beige with red-brown banding.  

Petrographic analysis: Calcitic marble 

Mineral composition: 96% calcite, 3% dolomite and 1% quartz. 

Applications: Epidaurus Red marble is suitable for any application, for indoor flooring and vertical surfaces. It gives a special character to every space while it is used predominantly in combination with white and mainly with light-coloured marbles for interior linings
